Job Description


Position: Bid Manager

Department: Business Development

Location: Bengaluru


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end bid management across multiple opportunities across India, with limited UK bid support.
  • Review tender/RFP documents and identify key submission requirements.
  • Prepare bid plans, submission schedules, compliance trackers, and responsibility matrices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, technical experts, leadership, and external partners for bid inputs.
  • Draft, edit, and refine bid responses in clear, persuasive, and professional language.
  • Develop and enhance executive summaries, methodology sections, case studies, and other proposal content.
  • Support the preparation of client-facing presentations and pitch decks.
  • Provide creative support for proposals, including structuring, formatting, visual enhancements, and overall presentation quality.
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Manage document version control and maintain bid folders, templates, CVs, and credential documents.
  • Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and interview/presentation preparation, where required.
  • Continuously improve bid processes, content libraries, and submission standards.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Good presentation development skills, including slide structuring and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to provide creative and document formatting support for bids and proposals.
  • Prior experience in bid management, proposal management, or tender coordination is a must.
  • Background in the construction industry is essential.
  • Good understanding of consultancy, project management, cost management, engineering, building surveying, facility management, or related construction services.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.


Preferred Background:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management or related roles.
  • Experience in a construction consultancy, project management, cost consultancy, or engineering environment.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with preparing proposals, tender submissions, and client presentations.
  • Experience supporting written submissions and presentations.
