AVEVA MES Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled AVEVA MES Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MES systems. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation principles and a proven track record in delivering high-quality MES solutions.

Must Have Skills:

1. Extensive experience working with AVEVA MES (Operations, Performance & Quality) Modules specializing in Application Development, architecture, and system design for industrial automation projects.
2. Strong expertise in developing & configuring the AVEVA system platform.
3. In-depth knowledge of industrial automation concepts and principles.

Nice to have skills:

1. AVEVA Workflow.
2. Experience with SQL Server and .NET programming.

Detailed Job Description:

Technical Skills:

1. Extensive experience working with AVEVA/Wonderware MES & System Platform specializing in Application Development, architecture, and system design for industrial automation projects.
2. Serve as the primary technical expert on AVEVA MES, advising both internal teams and external clients.
3. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
4. Assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems for industrial applications.
5. In-depth knowledge of AVEVA MES (Operations, Performance & Quality), BOM/Recipe, Track & Trace, Enterprise Integration, Workflow.
6. Strong expertise in developing & configuring the AVEVA system platform.
7. Understanding of the concepts around the AVEVA Edge, Reporting Software, Model-Driven-MES, UOC, Insight Cloud will be added advantage.
8. Skilled in integrating PLCs and devices into AVEVA systems using various industrial protocols (OPC, ABCIP, ABTCP, MBTCP, MQTT, REST API etc.)
9. Knowledgeable in implementing security measures and adhering to industry best practices to ensure the security of industrial control systems.
10. Thorough understanding of alarming and notification systems, implementing real-time alerts and notifications for critical events and anomalies.

Certifications (Preferred):

1. AVEVA MES (Operation, Performance) Developer Certification
2. AVEVA Application Server Certification
3. AVEVA InTouch for System Platform Certification
