Assistant Professor - Botany

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and develop curriculum for Botany; Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects
• Design and develop curriculum materials for new courses or academic programs in relevant fields.
• Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects that combine agronomic principles with areas.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to the formulation and implementation of academic policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• M.Sc. with NET/Ph.D. in Botany. having 1-5 years teaching experience.
• 1 to 5 years of teaching experience in an academic or industry setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of agronomic principles, with the ability to apply this expertise in both teaching and research.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with a Ph.D. will be given preference.
