About the Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our Inside Sales team within the Supply Chain Finance vertical. This is a hands-on leadership role you will own team performance, drive disbursement targets, and build a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who has managed sales teams in lending and knows how to convert pipeline into revenue month after month.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, manage and motivate a team of inside sales executives to achieve monthly disbursement targets.
Set clear individual and team KPIs; monitor performance on a daily and weekly basis.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, team reviews and performance feedback sessions.
Foster a high-accountability, high-energy sales culture within the team.
Sales Execution & Disbursement Growth
Own the end-to-end inside sales funnel from lead allocation to loan disbursement.
Drive consistent month-on-month growth in disbursement volumes across the SCF portfolio.
Work closely with credit, operations and product teams to remove bottlenecks and improve conversion rates.
Identify underperforming segments or processes and take corrective action proactively.
Training & Process Excellence
Train new and existing team members on SCF products, credit processes, and sales tools.
Develop and maintain training playbooks, call scripts, and SOPs for the inside sales team.
Introduce and drive adoption of new tools, CRM systems and workflows as the business evolves.
Ensure the team is always updated on product changes, policy updates and market dynamics.
Portfolio Management & Reporting
Monitor the teams active loan portfolio for quality, repayment health and early warning signals.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to leadership.
Track conversion ratios, TAT, and other key sales metrics to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the collections team for timely follow-ups on overdue accounts.
Qualifications & Skills
- 13 years of experience in analytics, BI, or a data-heavy role.
- Strong, hands-on SQL including query optimization, joins, and building views.
- Comfortable in Python for data wrangling, scripting, and automation.
- Experience working with at least one OLAP or columnar database (ClickHouse, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar).
- Prior exposure to product analytics or a fintech/financial services environment.
- Proven ability to work across teams you know how to ask the right questions, manage stakeholder expectations, and get alignment on data definitions.
- Strong communication skills: you can make a complex dataset land clearly with a non-technical audience.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with bureau data (CIBIL, Experian, CRIF, or similar) understanding pull-level data and deduplication challenges.
- Practical knowledge of Metabase: dashboard creation, advanced filtering, and enabling self-serve analytics.
- Familiarity with orchestration or transformation tools (dbt, Airflow).
- An AI-native workflow you use tools like Claude, Cursor, or Copilot to move faster and think sharper.
