Experience: 5-7 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong Design & NPD professional to support product development, tooling design and manufacturing engineering activities across Sequoia Safety and Surlon Durel businesses.

The candidate should have strong expertise in SolidWorks, SolidCAM and CNC/VMC programming, with practical experience in mould, fixture, die and product development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop moulds, fixtures, dies and production tooling

Support complete NPD and product development activities from concept to production

Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings and assemblies using SolidWorks

Generate CNC/VMC programs using SolidCAM

Coordinate with production, machining, quality and vendor teams for product development and trials

Support process improvement, tooling optimisation and manufacturing feasibility studies

Work on reverse engineering, prototyping and development of new engineering components

Maintain technical documentation, BOMs and revision-controlled drawings

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and SolidCAM

Hands-on experience in CNC and VMC programming

Experience in mould, fixture, die and tooling development

Good understanding of machining, fabrication and manufacturing processes

Strong problem-solving and product development approach

Ability to work closely with production and cross-functional teams

Experience with IRIS standards and railway/industrial quality systems preferred

Candidates with experience in railways, defence, aerospace or precision engineering industries will be preferred.
