Experience Required:

24 years (Assistant Accountant) / 46 years (Senior level exposure preferred)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance. The candidate should be proficient in handling day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly accounting activities
• Manage Accounts SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure adherence
• Perform sales reconciliation and ensure accuracy of records
• Maintain proper accounts and financial records
• Handle returns filing (including GST returns)
• Work on GST compliance and documentation
• Manage TDS calculations and filings
• Assist in salary processing and statutory deductions (PF, PT, ESI)
• Support accounts finalization and reporting cycles

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting fundamentals
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel
• Hands-on experience with Tally
• Good understanding of Debit & Credit concepts
• Knowledge of Taxation (GST, TDS)
• Familiarity with Payroll compliance (PF, PT, ESI)
• Experience in sales reconciliation and return filing

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

Relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles
