Architectural Drafter

Role Description The Architectural Drafter will produce detailed architectural and construction drawings that support project delivery from schematic design through construction documentation. In this full-time remote role, the drafter will translate design concepts into accurate plans, sections, elevations, and details using industry-standard drafting software. Daily tasks include coordinating drawing sets, updating documents based on design revisions, and ensuring consistency with project standards and building codes. The Architectural Drafter will collaborate with architects, project managers, and consultants, participate in virtual coordination meetings, and maintain organized digital files and documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with experience preparing clear, detailed documentation for permitting and construction.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Architecture and Planning, including understanding of building layouts, spatial relationships, and basic code and zoning considerations.
• Candidates should possess proficient Drawing skills, including translating design concepts into precise technical drafting using CAD or BIM software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting/BIM tools, with the ability to manage and coordinate drawing sets in a remote environment.
