Job Purpose & Impact

The Senior Professional, Software Engineering designs, develops, and maintains highquality software applications, systems, and APIs supporting Commercial, Supply Chain, and Sustainability use cases. With minimal supervision, this role collaborates with crossfunctional partners to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.

This role contributes across the full software development lifecycleengineering new features, improving existing systems, ensuring high code quality, and resolving complex technical issueswhile promoting best practices and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Key Accountabilities

Software Development

• Design and develop highquality, scalable software solutions using clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Enhance existing applications to improve performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Automation & DevOps
• Apply internal deployment platforms, methodologies, and tools to automate build and deployment processes.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and repeatable software releases through CI/CD practices.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather complex requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Testing & Debugging

• Design and maintain robust unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure performance, stability, and quality.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve software development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Implement approved standards, tools, and practices to increase efficiency and reliability.

Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, APIs, deployment processes, and configurations.

Technical Support

• Provide advanced technical support for deployed applications.
• Resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime and business impact.
• Code Quality & Knowledge Sharing
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and best practices.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team capability building.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience(Typically reflects 6+ years in software engineering roles)

Strong handson experience with:

• React
• Java (Spring Boot)
• PostgreSQL
• Python
• CI/CD pipelines
• AWS Cloud Services
