Annotation Operations - Human QA Associate/Manager

About the Role

MicroAGI is building the data infrastructure that will power the next generation of embodied AI systems. We combine Domain Experts + High-Quality Reviewer Pool + Tech Platform to teach AI to reason and act in the physical world. Our globally distributed crowd reviews tens of thousands of hours of first-person video every week, across multiple countries and languages. We are looking for an Annotation Operations Associate/Manager to own the reasoning layer that turns active projects into high-quality delivered data from high-quality commercial environments. You will coordinate across partners, operators, deployment, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure our data annotation programs run on time and scale with high-quality. As models get more capable, the bar on data quality, taxonomy depth, and human judgement only rises. This vertical is one of the most strategic at MicroAGI.

We are looking for an Annotation Operations Associate/Manager to drive day-to-day execution of MicroAGI's annotation programs. You will partner closely with the Annotation Operations Lead to translate framework into delivery onboarding partners, managing reviewer pools, hitting daily throughput and quality targets, and turning messy workflows into repeatable systems. This is an operations role, not strategy or product it calls for someone who thrives in complexity, can orchestrate large distributed direct contributor networks and via partner ecosystem (BPOs, AI annotation companies, skilled-trade networks), and is obsessive about quality and SLA.

What You'll Do

• Run daily ops on partner and reviewer performance throughput, quality, AHT, fraud, payouts
• Onboard new high-quality reviewers and partners end-to-end: intake form intro call test MSA live first payout, deploying the standardised playbook
• Triage performance issues flag low-quality reviewers, work with engineering on fraud signals, manage performance-bucket transitions, set thresholds with the Lead
• Track and report on a daily cadence throughput, quality, cost per reviewed hour, partner SLAs, fraud alerts, reviewer retention
• Build training material, FAQs, and onboarding decks for new partners; deliver onboarding sessions and partner training calls
• Own day-to-day execution of data annotation/quality analysis programs across India and other countries
• Coordinate weekly partner payouts collect bank/payment details, validate hours and accuracy, ensure on-time disbursement
• Drive process improvements test-result follow-ups, screen-recording prevention, dataset rotation, fraud playbook execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience overall in annotation / data-labelling / human-in-the-loop QA operations at a top-tier AI data company
• Direct hands-on experience at a top-tier AI annotation / data company
• Familiarity with annotation QA constructs golden tasks, consensus, IAA, performance buckets, AHT, fraud detection
• Experience managing multi-vendor partner ecosystems BPOs, annotation companies, gig networks, community networks
• Excellent written and verbal communicator equally comfortable with partners, engineers, and senior leadership
• High agency moves fast, takes ownership, does not wait to be told what to do
• Comfortable working across global time zones, weekends, holidays on-time execution is core to everything we do

Strong Plus

• Scaled annotation throughput by an order of magnitude (10x+) in weeks, not months
• Background in embodied AI, robotics, autonomous vehicles, multimodal / video data
• Worked with skilled-trade contributor pools or vertical-specialist networks
• Top-tier institution IIT, IIM, NIT, BITS or equivalent
• Engineering or quantitative undergraduate background
• Entrepreneurial experience
