AI Data Quality Analyst II

Job Summary:

The AI Data Quality Analyst II (Human-in-the-Loop) is an individual contributor who combines hands-on review with system-level thinking. This role drives meaningful improvements to AI extraction quality by identifying patterns across large volumes of submissions and translating them into clear engineering requirements and quality metrics.

This position acts as a trusted partner to architects, engineers, and product stakeholders while remaining actively engaged in review work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Independently review and validate edge-heavy AI-extracted data from complex insurance, financial and other un-structured business documents(e.g., text files, claims, property values, loss runs, spreadsheets, PDFs, scanned submissions) for accuracy and compliance with quality standards
• Own quality standards for a defined segment of the AI pipeline (e.g., SOVs or loss runs).
• Identify systemic error patterns and articulate root causes clearly.
• Write high-quality requirements, bug reports, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with engineers to refine extraction logic and workflows.
• Contribute to data quality metrics (accuracy by field, error rates by document type).
• Improve review documentation, guidelines, and QA checklists and mentor junior analysts on quality standards and review techniques.

Skill and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience required to perform essential job functions
• Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): 3-5 years preferred in data quality, QA, analytics or operational roles
• Experience in Commercial or property insurance
• Familiarity with SQL or querying tools.
• Deep experience validating complex business or financial documents.
• Strong ability to organize and clearly document complex quality observations.
• Advanced Excel and analytical reasoning skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and data teams.
• Comfort balancing hands-on work with quality leadership.
• Strong insurance domain knowledge.
• Experience supporting ML or AI production systems.

Must Have Skills:

• Microsoft office, Data Analysis, detail oriented, Extensive testing/QA analysis, strong communication skills.
• Knowledge is must have, exp is good to have for the below key terms.
• Exposure to Commercial or property insurance
• Familiarity with SOVs, loss runs, or underwriting documentation. Exposure to AI/ML systems or Human-in-the-Loop workflows
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to interpret structured business information and comfort with repetitive, accuracy-focused work.
• Proven experience with systematic data review at scale.

Good to Have Skills:

• SQL, AI systems

Education and Certifications:

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
