Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Agro Purchase professional based in Pune. The role involves overseeing purchasing processes, managing purchase orders, and ensuring adherence to procurement policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include supplier evaluation, ensuring timely procurement of materials, cost negotiations, and maintaining accurate purchase records. The position also requires monitoring market trends to optimize procurement strategies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management
- Experience in managing Purchase Orders and general Purchasing operations
- Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends and negotiate effectively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of agro-industry procurement practices is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
