Position: Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

Duties: Develop data models (algorithms, approaches) for analytics related projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value. Collaborate with project team to implement modeling solutions. Evaluate new data analysis techniques to support prototype development. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on prototypes and algorithms. Drive the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and support data-driven decision making. Make strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results. Collaborate across all analytics functions to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis. Own complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category, or prototype. Manage risk associated with implementation. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Consult senior leadership/business partners to understand overall goals/functional objectives, decipher key business challenges, identify tactics to anticipate and mitigate business challenges/issues, and develop potential success criteria. Focus efforts on items that have maximum impact to the business. Contribute to business area strategic planning by providing input and actionable recommendations and solutions to senior leadership based on advanced research and analytical findings. Help with the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms for complex projects. Manage the testing and validation process to monitor the solution. Collaborate with functional leadership and cross-functional teams to develop consultative solutions for complex projects for a business area, category or prototype. Collaborate and partner with external business partners and vendors. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field and 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience with data visualization and reporting tools including Tableau and Looker. Experience in SQL with hands-on application to large-scale datasets. Experience conducting large-scale exploratory and statistical data analyses with deep dives. Experience with analytical platforms and infrastructure for scalable growth. Experience developing data science techniques, machine learning, and AI frameworks. Experience with e-commerce marketplace platforms, seller savings, incentives, and payments ecosystems. Experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and data-driven product decision-making. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
