Caterpillar is seeking multiple Material Planning Analysts in Brooklyn Park, MN. In this role, you will work with our global suppliers to schedule, plan, and oversee material procurement, production and delivery processes.

What you can look forward to in this role:
•    Participates in material scheduling and delivery processes in accordance with current productivity and cost efficiency standards.
•    Develops and executes material planning for a product line to ensure that all material requirements for assigned programs are met within the allocated time frame.
•    Lead cross functional meetings (Known internally as Andons.) to problem solve material shortages. 

A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:
•    Extensive experience in Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
•    Extensive experience in Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
•    Working knowledge of Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Knowledge of the process, issues, and considerations for systematically managing distribution of inventory for multiple plants or warehouses; ability to apply related knowledge and experience in real practice.
•    Working knowledge in Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers

Top Candidates for this position may also have:
•    A degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a supply chain discipline. 
•    Experience using SAP or other ERP programs
•    Invoice processing experience.

The primary location for this position is Brooklyn Park, MN.

Summary Pay Range:

$81,370.00 - $122,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
