Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor located in Austin TX.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm Thur, Fri, Sat, every other Wed
What a typical day looks like:
- Direct daily activities to optimize equipment use and meet production demands.
- Establish and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
- Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.
- Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.
- Forecast departmental operating costs and prepare budget requests.
- Assess and determine resource needs for materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Use of various tools associated with the following areas may be required: Electronic Assembly, Cables, Testing, Machine Operations, Mechanical and Electrical Pneumatics Repair.
- Coordinate maintenance efforts with engineering and operations teams.
- Select and develop personnel for efficient departmental functioning.
- Implement safety programs to ensure a safe workplace.
- Generate maintenance logs and operational metrics.
- Troubleshoot automated electronic and mechanical equipment in a high-volume environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management.
- Manage multiple assignments and projects efficiently.
- Analyze problems, gather data, and draw conclusions.
- Interpret technical instructions and manage various variables.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Maintenance Experience
- 5 years of Maintenance Experience Supervisory
- 5 years of Supervisory, Team Management, Team Buliding
- Experience with automated machinery and robotics.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of PLC systems and ability to manage maintenance teams across shifts.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts and their practical applications.
