Engineering Test Technician

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic technical assignments under the direction and supervision of an engineering supervisor. predominantly maintaining test equipment and program for current products, developing test equipment and releasing test SW for new products.
• Maintain test HW and SW for production.
• Work with SW and Test Development teams to release production SW and Calibration.
• Able to follow electrical, mechanical prints and models.
• Make calculations employing mathematical formulas and basic statistical to establish new test limits and FTQs.
• Provide technical assistance for production team to address test and yield issue.
• Compile and organize test data and prepare reports for evaluation by the production and development teams.
• Duties consist mainly of closely supervised assignments in direct support of the engineer, usually in a specific field requiring the application of basic technical fundamentals.
• Must be able to positively relate and interact with co-workers.
• Able to work a full shift with regular attendance at the business location.
• Customer assistance as needed.
• Involvement in pre-production as required.
