The Marketplace Tech team at Walmart develops scalable, innovative solutions supporting a vast retail ecosystem. This multidisciplinary group of engineers, architects, and product leaders collaborates to build robust platforms for fulfillment, logistics, and seller experience. Their work spans global supply chain integration, marketplace growth, and customer-focused delivery and returns solutions. By leveraging advanced technology, data insights, and domain expertise, the team ensures Walmart Marketplace remains agile, reliable, and prepared to expand across new business models and markets, driving operational excellence and sustained growth.
What you'll do:
- Lead and coordinate large-scale technical programs, defining goals, stage gates, and key deliverables across multiple teams and dependencies.
- Drive end-to-end system solution design, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
- Manage program risks, issues, and resource commitments to maintain delivery timelines and quality outcomes.
- Mentor team members on program management best practices, technical design, and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accelerate delivery.
- Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders to support program success.
- Oversee program performance metrics, continuously refining roadmaps to achieve strategic goals.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in program and project management, including planning, risk mitigation, and delivery of complex, large-scale technical programs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder engagement, and secure commitments for program scopes and resources.
- Strong technical expertise in system design, architecture, cloud infrastructure, and software lifecycle management.
- Skilled in driving process improvements, automation, and scalable workflows to enhance engineering velocity and quality outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders, present data-driven insights, and align teams on strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
