What You'll Do:


  • You will be Providing technical support to partners and/or customers for Cisco technologies, products, and/or solutions.
  • You are responsible for resolving complex technical problems, depending on the customers' needs, where analysis of situations requires in-depth evaluation of factors.
  • You will simulate technical problems in a lab environment and share your knowledge with stakeholders and contribute towards building a knowledge base and enlarging our knowledge database.
  • You will provide internal and/or external technical presentations (cross-training).
  • You will bring up some specific problems to the responsible Business Units for product improvement.
  • You will be the focal point for high-impact, large-account problem resolution.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders (VARs, OEMs, end-users, and internal engineering departments) to achieve common goals (drive quality into the product).

The Cloud Security team within CX Centers APJC is responsible for holistically resolving issues across Cisco's Technologies and Products. The team provides 24x7 worldwide technical support for Cisco products


Who You Are:


  • You have 3+ years of relevant industry experience with Cloud security - Email Security Appliances (ESA)
  • Good attitude and should have Customer support expertise
  • Should have Support experience in Cisco Security technologies like Cisco ASA firewall, AMP, IPsec, VPN, AAA, ISE, IPsec, and GRE.
  • A deep understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, and Switching will be preferred.
  • Should have a solid understanding of Network Security Technologies
  • Should provide consultation to complex product and network problems.
  • Effectively utilizes complex lab setups to duplicate and seek problems.
  • Provides systems/product training and intellectual property material.
  • Should act as a point of contact for large account network problem resolution and submit complete and correct defect reports in the area of expertise.
  • CCIE Security is preferable
  • Ability to Assertively communicate and demonstrate Technical Leadership on Troubleshooting scenarios, especially over WebEx / telephonic customer conversations.
