Tech Lead - Data Platform

Responsibilities:

● Design and build reusable components, frameworks and libraries at scale to support analytics data products

● Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and Technology stakeholders

● Anticipate, identify and solve issues concerning data management to improve data quality"

● Clean, prepare and optimise data at scale for ingestion and consumption

● Drive the implementation of new data management projects and re-structure of the current data architecture Implement complex automated workflows and routines using workflow scheduling tools

● Designing, implementing, and optimizing the performance of large-scale distributed systems with security and compliance in mind.

● Mentoring other engineers, defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team.

What You’ll Need :

● Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline and experience of at least 9+ years.

● 7+ years of experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.

● 8+ years of programming experience in Java, C/C++ or other relevant coding languages

● Hands on experience developing distributed systems or other large-scale systems.

● Experience with data modeling, ETL concepts, and patternsfor efficient data governance.

● Experience mentoring and developing other engineers.

● In-depth knowledge of any one of the NoSQL stores such as (HBase, Cassandra, Druid, Pinot, ClickHouse etc)

● Good to have - public cloud exposure, open source contributions
