Qualifications:

10 to 15 years of experience in Analytics and Data Science

PhD/MS in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Theoretical/Computational Physics, orrelated field
Strong change management skills to drive progress for a community of 600+ analysts.Proven track record of influencing analytics leaders to shape mission critical projects
Proven thought leadership experience in the Data Analytics and Data Science domain
Apply existing data mining techniques – descriptive and predictive modeling tools,and methodologies and/or design new data mining algorithms to drive solutions
Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena, and AWS core concepts)
Having a wide-latitude in determining objectives and approaches to solutiondevelopment on mission critical assignments
Provides consultative guidance across Intuit's businesses on how best to utilize datafor business decision-making, and to build the organization mind-set and capabilitiesneeded to fully exploit this data as an asset
Collaborates with infrastructure architects in assessing and addressing therequirements for more automated, streamlined systems and for the data governancerequired for agile and responsive data manipulation
Good understanding of data structures and pipelines. Experience with datainstrumentation, interpretation and visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Amplitude etc.,
Prior experience building large scale enterprise data architectures using commercialand/or open-source Data Analytics technologies

Responsibilities:

Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and UX/UI designers to developscalable and user-friendly data analytics solutions.
You’ll own and prioritize the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap todeliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team toensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure that and your team willbe successful
You'll lead a diverse team of talented, senior individual contributors who areexperts in the fields of analytics, experimentation, and machine learning. You'llpartner with engineering teams to optimize the analytics products with an eyetoward scaling analytics, access to insights, innovating on methodologies, andfinding new opportunities to apply high-impact science and analytics to Intuit’sdata challenges.
As an insight incubator, works autonomously or leads teams to generate orshape new and highly critical business propositions that exploit and monetizebig data research
Sets self-initiated research objectives and exercises a wide latitude ofdiscretionary judgment in exploring advances in artificial intelligence andapplying innovative machine learning techniques to Intuit's data capturing andmining business strategy
