Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for employees across multiple countries within the APAC and EU regions, ensuring accurate calculations of wages, overtime, and other compensation components.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to verify timesheet accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely submission of payroll data.
- Compute and process payroll taxes, social security contributions, benefits, and other deductions in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and tax regulations to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
- Generate payroll reports, statements, and summaries for management review and auditing purposes.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, deductions, and tax-related issues.
- Assist in year-end payroll activities, including tax forms and reporting.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the payroll process.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of payroll-related accounts.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with exposure to accounts payable functions.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees, managers, and external parties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude and the ability to contribute to process improvements.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
