This position within the SEO group is focused on creating, maintaining, and improving the SCM platform and practices for Broadcom's development teams.
Candidates will be responsible for supporting the needs of multiple product teams and organizations across Broadcom while enhancing and supporting the underlying tools used to build and deliver software products globally.
Your ability to balance requirements gathering, problem-solving, and process improvement makes for a dynamic role that leverages the breadth of your skills.
- Real-world experience with operating SCM systems like git, GitHub, GitLab, Gerrit, gitolite, svn, perforce, and Unix environments.
- Migration between SCM systems (for example svn to git)
- Ability to adapt and embrace change
- Willingness to acquire knowledge in new areas
- DevSecOps focused on strong SDLC process knowledge
- Automation-focused thinker with skills to script/develop/debug tool integrations
- Independent worker with excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute ideas and technical improvements
- Team player with experience working with development teams
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels.
- Working knowledge of GCP preferred
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 12+ years of related experience.
Bonus:
- Tools familiarity including dev tools and environments like Artifactory, SonarQube, BlackDuck, Jenkins, Rally, Jira
- Experience/exposure to product support and operations
- Experience working in highly available environment
