Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Inventory Function team to understand their business problem and opportunities and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Develop and document clear plans to bring analytical solutions from concept to reality.
- Evaluate the end-to-end supply chain to determine the optimal positioning of inventory – i.e., finished goods, in-process, raw material, supplier inventory, supplier’s supplier inventory, etc. Quantify inventory buckets throughout the chain.
- Well-experienced in working on Scenario planning and working with Demand and supply teams to update the possible inventory risks.
- Experience with inventory consumption tools, replenishment qty, EOQ, and safety stocks on consigned stocks of suppliers.
- Execute actions to optimize inventory based on current capabilities, EOQ, and actions to improve underlying contributors to inventory.
- Develop data infrastructure to enable timely business performance insights
- Translate data into actionable insights to help supply chain leaders to make strategic decisions that improve efficiency and/or the customer experience.
- Support overall COE enhancement and production support strategies with key business functions.

- Experience with inventory consumption tools, replenishment qty, EOQ, and safety stocks on consigned stocks of suppliers.
- Execute actions to optimize inventory based on current capabilities, EOQ, and actions to improve underlying contributors to inventory.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of supply chain processes and must help in enhancing performance by reducing inefficiencies in inventory.
- Help in optimizing the supply chain inventory from end-to-end distribution.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive a cross-functional internal team through the change management process.
Scope & Impact:
- Collaborates with peers, junior data scientists and engineers, SMEs, and external and internal research and product development partners.
- Typically partners with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, and Program Core Teams.
- Supports projects requiring data science engineering.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with supply chain certification is preferred. Recommended to have statistical analytics knowledge.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in inventory management and providing analytical reporting and business insight
- Minimum 2 years of experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and MIS reporting to management.
