Job Description

What You’ll Do:


  • Partner with product and portfolio analysts to help define and measure the outcomes of proof of concepts and experiments
  • Define and ensure the ability to measure the impact of features on business outcomes
  • Map data flows, generate new calculations, and partner with business analysts to help craft requirements related to attributes and workflow
  • Provides input on underlying application data model, relationships between various data entities, attribute definitions and derived measurements
  • Work with functional leadership, engineering teams and data governance to identify data quality issues, devise process improvement strategies to address data quality issues, and recommend appropriate validations for data quality improvement
  • Create and support data visualizations such as key performance indicators and business metric dashboards
  • Provide operational analysis of team efficiency and service level agreements to highlight and decrease bottlenecks
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:


  • Ability to communicate with groups throughout the life cycle of development and support testing hypothesis all the way to the generation of appeal visualizations of data.
  • Knowledge of current-state and desired future-state processes, as well as related data and systems, to be able to provide analysis on the quantifiable impact of certain changes and decisions.
  • Ability to support multiple teams and business processes with design-thinking acumen
  • Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies of a new business area
  • Demonstrate ability to engage and effectively communicate and translate between business requirements and technical specifications to negotiate, influence, and achieve target outcomes
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and across teams
  • Skills to derive insights from data and the ability to effectively present those insights to the stakeholders 
  • Ability to comprehend and work with structured and semi-structured data
  • Knowledge of technology/system development methodologies


Qualifications:



  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, business, economics, or engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in technology industry with 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science or business analysis as specified below
  • Identified, scrubbed, and analyzed data sets
  • Created visualizations to display data insights (Tableau preferred)
  • Worked in a large scaled Agile environment, particularly familiar with Scrum practices
  • Proficient in SQL Proficient in data visualization (Tableau preferred)
  • Proficiency in basic statistics and technical analysis
  • Understanding of relational data concepts and ability to document data flows
