Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
PLATFORM MANAGEMENT
- Managing AWS, Azure and GCP Cloud infrastructure-related operations.
- Ensure adherence to Service Levels Agreements for both response and resolution times.
- Manage IT operations of SAAS Applications for Snowflake.
- Drive resilient platform operations and work with Apps/Data teams for 99.99% uptime.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Leads the development of enterprise DevOps, Security, and Monitoring & Alerts strategy and roadmaps, while driving a robust communication strategy to update internal stakeholders on service health, SLA tracking, incidents, and upcoming events.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, and Project Managers, Security, Compliance and, fostering a culture of DevSecOps across the organization.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing DevOps team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Advocate for automation and oversee the development and deployment of CI/CD pipelines.
- Share an on-call rotation (follow the sun model) and be an escalation contact for service incidents for the team
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE:
- B.Tech/B.E, B.S or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ yearsof work experience in the IT Industry.
- 7+with good exposure of DevOps & Site Reliability experience and managing DevOps/Cloud function
- 3+ years of experience in leading teams to build/manage software systems.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while working with diverse audiences including highly technical IT professionals, developers, architects, and security architects.
- Ability to write code in Python/Go/Perl/Powershell or similar to solve automation/glue problems and develop effective tooling.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline security toolset (e.g Static/Dynamic Analysis and Security Testing (SAST/DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Image/Container/Container Registry scanning)
- Knowledge & experience of Snowflake is a big plus.
