Your Impact:

• Key liaison between Configuration Manager, Data Architect, Service Modeling Manager, System Administrators and other configuration item (CI) stakeholders to develop and support the best practices for enterprise  grade CMDB.
• Design and architect the CMDB system to capture various IT assets, including servers, network devices, software applications, databases, and other hardware and software components.
• Implement automated discovery tools and agents to identify and collect data on IT assets across the organization.
• Define and manage the lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs) within the CMDB, including CI relationships, attributes, and dependencies.
• Integrate the CMDB with other IT systems and tools, such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Incident Management, Change Management, and Asset Management systems.
• Develop and maintain CMDB reports and dashboards to provide insights into the IT infrastructure and asset-related information.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Configuration Management and IT Asset Management.
• Manage relationships with various organizations to build and achieve project objectives across project portfolios.

Required Experience:

• Excellent understanding of Cloud Technologies like AWS, Salesforce Infrastructure Cloud along with basic understanding of on-prem infrastructure.
• Min 2+ years of experience on OpenText uCMDB
• Python programming
• Overall 7+ years of experience in IT with min 5+ years of experience in managing various types of IT assets across the organization.
• min 3+ years of programming skills in Java/Python and Terraform/Cloud-Formation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Min 3+ years of experience in design & development of AWS core services. Exposure to Kubernetes clusters and Salesforce Hyperforce is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a CMDB Engineer or similar role, with expertise in configuring and managing CMDB systems. 
• In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, networks, and databases. 
• Prior experience in CMDB tools and discovery technologies (e.g., Microfocus, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Creating, integrating, and conducting testing for applications utilizing various API technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional IT teams. ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification is a plus.
• Participate in agile infrastructure software development, scrum, kanban, and sprint.
• Collaborate with peers and partners in the execution of use cases, proof of concepts.
• Commitment to quality, reliability, uptime, customer satisfaction, and data security.
• Understanding Threat & Vulnerability Management and HRI’s.

Basic Requirements: 



• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Cloud as well as on-prem infrastructure components and deployment.
• Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems.
• Exceptional research skills and resourcefulness, Strong technical problem solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Willingness to learn and master unfamiliar technologies and/or concepts 
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
