Job description:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Some companies may prefer candidates with a master's degree or additional certifications in software quality assurance.
• Experience: 8-10 years of relevant work experience in software quality assurance and testing is a fundamental requirement for this role. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in QA roles, preferably in a senior or leadership capacity.
• QA Methodologies and Processes: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various software testing methodologies and processes, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Testing Tools: Proficiency in using industry-standard software testing tools for test automation, test management, and defect tracking, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, or others.
• Test Automation: Strong expertise in test automation and scripting using tools like Selenium or other test automation frameworks. Candidates should have experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites.
• Manual Testing: Ability to conduct manual testing when necessary, including test case creation, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Performance and Load Testing: Experience in performance testing and load testing of software applications to ensure their scalability and responsiveness under different loads.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Demonstrated capability to create test plans, test strategies, and test designs based on project requirements and specifications.
• Defect Management: Familiarity with defect tracking and management processes to effectively identify, report, and track software defects.
