- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities are essential for this role. Marketing & Product Analysts should be proficient in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization. They should be able to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to support marketing and product strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using analytical tools and technologies is crucial. Marketing & Product Analysts should be familiar with tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Google Analytics, and other data analysis and visualization platforms.
- Marketing and Product Knowledge: A solid understanding of marketing and product strategies, concepts, and best practices is important. Marketing & Product Analysts should be able to connect data analysis to marketing and product objectives, such as customer segmentation, product performance, pricing, and campaign effectiveness.
- Data Management: Experience in data collection, data cleansing, and data integration is valuable. Marketing & Product Analysts should be able to work with large datasets from various sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Business Acumen: Marketing & Product Analysts should have a good understanding of the business and industry they are operating in. This includes knowledge of market trends, customer behavior, competitive landscape, and industry benchmarks.
