Job Requirements for Porter.in Director of Product
The Porter.in Director of Product is responsible for the strategic direction, enhancement, and financial performance of Porter's products and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, a proven track record of success in leading product teams, and a strong passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product strategy for Porter's products and services
- Lead a team of product managers in the design, development, and launch of new products and features
- Oversee the creation and management of product roadmaps
- Work closely with engineering and operations to ensure effective delivery and support of products and services
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to promote and launch new products and features
- Track and analyze product performance and make data-driven decisions about product development
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the logistics industry
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of the logistics industry and the challenges and opportunities of last-mile delivery
- Proven track record of success in launching and growing successful products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Experience with tech-enabled products and services
- Experience with data-driven product development
- MBA from a top business school
