Cloud Infrastructure GCP

Job description:

• Experience: A minimum of several years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles, with a specific focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes architecture.
• Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with GCP services, particularly Google Compute Engine (GCE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Anthos. Familiarity with other GCP services is a plus.
• DevOps Skills: Proficiency in DevOps practices, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD). Experience with tools like Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization: Strong experience with Docker containerization technology and orchestration using Kubernetes. Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters is essential.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Scripting: Strong scripting skills with languages like Bash, Python, or similar for automating tasks and managing infrastructure.
• Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible for automating server provisioning and configuration.
• Monitoring and Testing: Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices, including using tools like SonarQube for code quality analysis.
• Cloud Architecture: Understanding of cloud architecture principles, best practices, and patterns for designing scalable, reliable, and highly available systems on GCP.
• Collaboration and Communication: Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and implement effective solutions.
• Security: Awareness of security best practices for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Learning Agility: Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Google Cloud (such as Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer) and Kubernetes (such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator) can be a plus.
