Job Description
Requirements:
1. Cloud Platform Expertise: Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or others. Familiarity with cloud services, networking, and security in the chosen platform.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
3. Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and create custom solutions.
4. Networking: Understanding of cloud networking concepts, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Virtual Networks, Subnets, Security Groups, and VPNs.
5. Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards relevant to the cloud platform.
6. Containers and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
7. DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and continuous integration and delivery practices.
8. Monitoring and Logging: Proficiency in setting up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for cloud-based environments, using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver.
9. Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges in cloud environments.
10. Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, developers, and other stakeholders.
11. Certifications: Relevant certifications from cloud providers like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent certifications can be advantageous.
12. Project Management: Experience in managing cloud infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and documentation.
