Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Accountable to drive and deliver and closing User Acceptance Testing, Business Validation Testing, and Warranty Testing for Dynamics releases.
- Builds User Acceptance Test plans, Business Validation Plans to be integrated into the overall project plan.
- Sizes/assess how many test resources are required based on project scope and works with budget mgr and platform mgr to ensure costs and justification are clear and that resources are hired and onboarded.
- Manages the UAT/MTP testing activities, testing risks, and roadblock removal, working with Biz & IT PMs and capability
- Leads UAT meetings to ensure defects are prioritized, fixed, and closed to keep testing on track
- Responsible to kick off UAT & signoff, MTP and warranty Business Validation kick-off, and signoff
- Participates in project meetings: perform risk management & issues escalation, remove roadblocks related to testing
- Prepares and distributes status updates reporting cadence for UAT readiness, UAT Execution, and Warranty status report
- Accountable for UAT environment readiness: requires working with IT and platform configuration leads to ensure all testers have access to test servers and to Azure Dev Ops to log and track defects, that the right test data is loaded etc.
- Responsible to ensure the test team understands the project scope and what testing is required and that they are trained on how to use Azure Dev Ops
- Work with Capability leads and testers to ensure they document comprehensive test scripts in Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
- Assigns tasks & owners for testing and provides direction and guidance to the team as needed
- Accountable for maintenance of test scripts in ADO (i.e. scripts are reviewed for changes and updates made to ensure they are still valid) – this involves working with the capability leads and IT.
- Sets up ADO dashboards and views to track & monitor Testing Prep and Execution Status and provides daily communication updates on UAT status
- Accountable to deliver to the agreed timelines in the project schedule
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 6-10 years of experience.
- Typically 3-5 years of experience in project management and testing/QA area.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge & Extensive experience in User acceptance testing
- Evaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions.
- Experience with the design and integration of software running on multiple platform types.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
