Job Description
Primary responsibilities include:
- Working closely with business stakeholders, verify the requirements and deliver quality output for a salesforce based product.
- Delivery of Functional and Technical design documents for the features developed.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance practices like root cause analysis to remove and prevent defects.
The role will offer an opportunity to learn about the integration of Salesforce platform with various other line of business' including SAP ERP system.
Areas of Focus
- An understanding of contemporary requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and best coding practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
- Design, configure, develop, and execute Salesforce assignments.
- Pro-actively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in existing product.
Desired Skills and Experience
At least 2 full lifecycle SalesForce.com implementations
- At least 7 years of Salesforce development experience with strong knowledge of APEX, LC and LWC platforms.
- Familiar with standard Salesforce functionalities which includes workflows, data loader, flows and validation rules.
- Good functional knowledge of Salesforce’s Experience cloud and service cloud.
- Experience integrating data from external systems into Salesforce and vice versa using Boomi and other integration technologies like Web services, APIs.
- Should be able to manage full application development cycle including, debugging, code review, unit testing, basic troubleshooting especially with Agile development experience.
- Experience with Integrated development environment, i.e. Visual studio.
- Exposure to integrating Salesforce with a cloud based platform is a major plus.
- Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript is desired.
- Experience in a SCRUM Agile development environment is preferred
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Developer Certification is preferred.
- Major Plus: Medical Device/Life Science Industry Experience
- Major Plus: Experience with Boomi, salesforce field service/Service cloud platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
