Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Investigate vulnerabilities/CVEs in core AngularJS/CentOS
- Ensure timely release of any CVE fix. (ensuring strict adherence to SLAs)
- Engage with the support team to provide solutions for any customer issues.
- Ensure our documentation is up-to-date with each release.
- Drive initiatives to support continuous improvement of process, quality metrics, communication, and tooling
- Actively monitor CVEs related to AngularJS/CentOS, analyze them, and provide timely updates.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- You have 5-9 years of professional experience as a software engineer, ideally with complex frontend applications
- Proficient in JavaScript, AngularJS - MUST HAVE
- Good hands-on knowledge of C (on any Linux OS) - Desired
- Strong zeal to contribute to the open source community.
- Proficient in using npm and npm registries
- Experience using Continuous Integration systems, such as Jenkins
- Knowledgeable about differences between npm, yarn, and ppm, etc.
- Experience with Karma, Protractor, or any other test frameworks
- Experience compiling software with open-source toolchains
- Experience with version control
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
