SDET- Automation Engineer

Your Role:

• Empowered to test the quality of the deliverables and influence the delivery of quality products/features - performance, scaling out, and resiliency of distributed cloud systems
• Designing high-level test approaches and implementing detailed test plans based on the requirements to deliver high-quality(usability, scale, performance, secure) products in a fast-paced environment.
• Automating test cases written and executed as part of new feature testing, and enabling automated regression runs for subsequent releases.
• Analyzing failures and determining root causes, filing defects in the Defect Tracking System, and driving them to closure.
• Collaborating with Development to ensure testability and supportability aspects. 
• Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 3+ years of relevant QA/SDET/System Test experience,
• Experience in Software Development or Test Automation in one of the following programming languages: Python/Perl/C/C++/Java (Python preferred).
• Strong fundamentals in Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithms, Data Structures, and Problem-Solving.
• Experience testing a “systems” product (file systems, storage systems, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, or networking)
• Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and Xen.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role and passion for software quality.
• The candidate must be ddetail-oriented have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once,be able to work independently, respect difference,s and can maintain professionalism under various circumstances.
• Skills in debugging complex distributed applications.
