Job Description
Responsibilities:
- UI and API QA - Understand the Mist UI and API architecture to be able to fix and improve the current design and to be able to make the Mist UI and API more robust for future improvements that lead to better user experiences. Address UI and API issues with developers on the Mist team to go to for assistance to expedite fixes when bugs occur. Testing, validating, reporting bugs and bring quality assurance to the table with your stamp.
- Test Plans - Work with product marketing, software development teams to review design specification, develop, and implement test topologies and test cases based on functional specifications. Execute regression test cases, report in the bug tracking system, debug the problems/issues effectively and follow up with the respective engineering teams for issue resolutions. Possess outstanding problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of issues
- Documentation - Continuously integrate and develop the QA documentation, white papers, and user guides.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in UI and API.
- Familiarity with JSON and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and debugging.
- Comfortable working with different teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in Python is a plus.
- Knowledge in networking related technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge in machine learning is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
