What you will do:

• Monitoring the Scheduling jobs. Scheduling the jobs by using Crontab command. Also, nightly batch processing and interfaces. Run the jobs manually if failed due to issues like space on server or access permissions.
• Performing daily system Monitoring for high availability of Java/C/Pro*C/C++ Applications hosted on WebLogic/Linux servers.
• Performing Root cause analysis (RCA) for high impact/priority issues.
• Maintaining existing application and providing 24/7 support to the application.
• We need to resolve the issue based on SLA.
• Forwarding the issues to L3 team if any bug is occurred. (If any changes or more analysis required).
• Interacting with onsite calls or Dev team for better understanding the issue.
• Report generation (Daily, weekly, and monthly) as per client requirement.
• I am responsible for providing support in L1/L2 Level depending on the priority of the issue to meet Client’s SLA.
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly report preparation as requested by clients/Business.
• Collating data in Excel sheet and sharing with Operation/Dev/Business team.
• Creating Dashboard for weekly call review.
• Pro-actively review systems to fix incidents before they become service affecting or to improve productivity/performance, identify risks and issues related to all the Application, find Root-cause analysis (RCA) of issues by examining relevant log files stored on WebLogic’s and recreate & validate issue by reproducing on Prod Env.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• 3-5 years of experience monitoring/troubleshooting batch applications in Java, C, Pro*C, SQL, PL/SQL applications on Unix/Linux/Solaris platform.
• Collaboration platforms such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Version One
• Strong technical experience with Unix/Linux.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle, and using SQL*PLUS
• Experience with shell scripting, Unix Commands like Sed, and AWK
