Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Design, test and/or commissioning of wired communication systems with involvement in the complete design lifecycle
- Knowledge of VLANs, QOS, trunking, RSTP, PVSTP+, ACLs, SNMP, VRRP
- Working knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac radios
- Good knowledge on the routing concepts and protocols like OSPF & BGP
- Knowledge of ITSM applications such as service NOW/Remedy
- Good working or theoretical knowledge of Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet
- Knowledge of general wireless concepts like SNR, tx rate, rx rate, radio management
- Live scenario troubleshooting (such as latency issues, application slowness etc)
- Design experience with Aruba SDWAN, AOS-CX switches is a plus
- Knowledge of Aruba Airwave and Central is a plus
- Knowledge of network wireless survey and use of Ekahau tool is a plus
- Good communication skills – written & Oral
- Experience in handling Network outages
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Typically 6-8 years experience.
- Using appropriate engineering design tools and software packages to design components and solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of material properties and hardware, software, and electrical component design
- Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
