Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team covering full-stack development, QA, automation, and DevOps with over 10 team members
- Contribute to the product hands-on by fixing bugs and coding features/stories
- E2E responsibility for software product delivery and ability to manage production environments too
- Drive the group to work efficiently and consistently following an Agile methodology (Sprint planning, daily standups, retrospective meetings, etc.)
- Identify technical debt and challenges and drive the team to reduce them
- Design solutions, evaluate architecture options, set technical direction and quality standards, guide implementation
- Work closely with key business and product stakeholders on building the technical and product roadmap
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in large-scale SaaS companies
- 3+ years as an Engineering manager
- Solid experience with server-side technologies such as Spring/Java/Node.JS, front-end technologies like Javascript/React/Angular
- Experience with REST API integration (JSON, XML)
- Good knowledge of Cloud technologies(AWS, K8S, Docker, etc.)
- Solid understanding of the full product development life cycle & deployment process
- B.E./B.Tech in computer science, or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
- Experience in building and running efficient CI/CD processes
Nice to have:
- Work on test frameworks like Cypress, and Selenium.
- Experience with cache systems like Redis
- Experience with NO SQL databases like Mongo DB
- Experience with Monitoring tools Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Sentry
- Experience with messaging like Rabbit MQ
