The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, Big Data technology, and Data Warehouse concepts. The incumbent must be committed to quality and ensure that the highest standards of development practices are maintained. The successful Lead Java Engineer will have strong knowledge of programming languages and development tools, understand deployment of Big Data solutions to production, and create innovative products for customers based on the latest Big Data technologies.

Role:

• The candidate should have relevant experience of at least 5 years in Java, Python, Spark, AWS Glue and Databricks.

• Develop and maintain web applications using a spring frameworks and Java.

• Should have detailed knowledge about microservices

• Debugging and resolving technical issues.

• Collaborate with other software engineers and solution architects to design, develop, test, deploy, and support business value-add software applications

• Monitor and improve performance of the Big Data platform.

• Develop scripts, tools and processes for automation of system activities.

• Set up and maintain a continuous integration and deployment infrastructure.

• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to development teams.

• Analyze system requirements and design scalable, reliable and maintainable solutions.

• Research, evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies to improve system performance.
