Responsibilities:

• Work with the EBP Anaplan, and Transformation team to understand the planning models, reports, dashboards, reporting needs, and other information that are being created as part of Enterprise Business Planning for SC markets and logistics finance

• Support deployment of machine learning-based forecasting model for logistics cost

• The right candidate will be independently responsible for solutioning the business opportunities & challenges, data collection, processing, transformation, modeling, analysis & visualization of the output of a business problem. Understand underlying cost drivers of market SC and logistics cost and develop predictive cost models to enhance the analytical capability of the finance team to improve business support & cost predictability

• The ideal candidate can see solutions in both big and small data sets with a business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company.

• He/she will use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling, and Machine Learning techniques to interpret key findings and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.

Education and Experience Required:

• First-level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.

• Typically 8+ years of experience in a variety of finance functions, especially Financial, analytics, and Supply Chain or Supply Chain Finance

• Hand on experience in building predictive cost models

Knowledge and Skills:

• Using scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze data

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of data mining and ETL (extraction, transformation, loading) principles: predictive analytics, mapping, and collecting data from multiple data systems on-premises and cloud-based data sources.

• Strong SQL skills, and ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.

• Experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for the business.

• Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, etc.

• Programming/scripting experience in Python, Java, and VBA Macro is preferred

• Ability to effectively communicate results and negotiate options at management levels.
