Compliance Analyst

Key areas of accountability:

·         Review video content (films, series) and ensure compliance with guidelines.

·         Research worldwide age classification guidelines, laws, regulations, and policies relevant to theatrical, broadcast, and streaming media.

·         Perform analysis on media content to identify age rating trends across countries.

·         Ensure policies and data is updated correctly in systems and tools.

·         Maintain knowledge management systems.

·         Work as a team player to research, learn, engage, and train with others and brainstorm solutions

Education: A degree in Media and Entertainment would be an advantage

Primary Skills: Content Tagging, Research, Knowledge of media regulations

Experience:

·         1-2 years of experience in Standards & Practices or Compliance departments of media companies.

·         Experience in reviewing and annotating international content.

Knowledge Level:

·         Knowledge of compliance and regulatory systems such as OFCOM, FCC, CBFC, MPAA and others would be an advantage.

·         An eye for detail and ability to spot issues in content.

·         Focus and patience required to watch hours of content

·         Note taking abilities

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Interest in understanding cultural nuances and sensitivities across the world.
