Job Description
Key Requirements:
Required to understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate those requirements into scalable Business Intelligence solutions.
Should be able to create solutions with excellent business user experience impact by using correct visual and story integration skills.
Should be able to leverage best practices in dashboard design to make reports more intuitive and insightful. Has the ability to create applications and interfaces to transform unstructured to structured data.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training, and/or experience)
- 8+ years of experience in development.
- Must be able to understand the business use of data and designs reports and applications with excellent user experience
- Experience in the design and implementation of OLAP cube architecture using SQL Server Analysis Services
- Knowledge in logical and physical database modeling.
- Application development experience using DOT NET/Python will be an added advantage
- Practical experience with large-scale data manipulation and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) using SQL Server Integration Services, Transact-SQL code, and other techniques
- Full-stack Java or similar development experience is highly desirable.
- Domain knowledge of Finance/Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with concepts of Balance sheets, trial balance, and accounting is desirable.
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently and proactively in achieving team and individual objectives
- Must be comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Must be an effective verbal and written communicator, able to work with both technical and business users
