Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements
• Identify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions
• Utilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues
• Analyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvements
• Conduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specifications
• Assess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
• Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Expert Experience working in Java, Spring, Angular, MicroServices, Oracle, Redis & SQL Server.
• Proficient with SAFe methodologies/DevOps methodologies.
• Implementation knowledge on Cloud Based Solutions.
• Knowledge on React/Node.js/Docker/Kubernetes is a definite plus.
• Expert level software development skills.
• Expert level skills in designing & building distributed systems..
• Expert level knowledge in systems design.
• Basic knowledge on networking.
• Basic knowledge on security protocols, encryption & TLS certificates.
• Multiple years of experience as an Engineering Manager and successfully managed groups of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to build and mentor a high-performance team while seeking continuous improvement.
• Experience developing realistic project plans, managing stakeholder expectations, and tracking team execution.
• You enjoy producing pragmatic solutions to concrete problems
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years professional experience in software development.
• 3+ years in more than one programming language with Java/Python/Javascript/ MicroServices
