Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate essentials of valid invoices like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date, etc.
• Resolve all vendor queries and requests coming via e-mails / Tickets within the agreed SLA.
• Maintain a tracker of the exceptions and ensure Invoices/queries are handled based on the exception tracker.
• Review and process invoices along with providing the resolutions for the invoices and releasing the invoices for Payment.
• Ensuring booking of invoices & provision of expenses are accounted for with accuracy and Balance sheet reconciliation is performed on monthly/quarterly basis.
• Participate in monthly close activities and performs month-end reconciliation of A/P report to the trial balance in collaboration with other members of the Accounting Team.
• Assist in Monthly, Quarterly & Year End reviews, periodic audits, related to AP functions and prepare audit schedules as necessary.
• Relevant knowledge on TDS and GST and preparation of respective returns
• Clearance of employee reimbursement on timely basis. Verify that the transactions comply with internal policies and procedures.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business accounting, or finance.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly in all levels within the organization.
• Experience in SAP specifically in GL & FA Modules, intermediate skills in MS office- Excel and Power Point,
• Relevant experience in handling employee reimbursement through any ERP. Concur tool is preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
