Job Title - Zonal Manager

Location - Patna

A Zonal Manager for a Cardio Diabetic division in a pharmaceutical company typically focuses on driving regional sales performance, team leadership, and market strategy.


The key responsibilities are:

  • Sales and Business Development: Drive primary and secondary sales, achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets, and expand the market presence for cardio-diabetic products across the assigned zone.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and train a team of Regional/Area Sales Managers and Medical Representatives, conduct performance reviews, and manage team retention.
  • Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute strategic sales plans, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and new product launches.
  • Key Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, major doctors, hospitals, and the distributor/stockist network.
  • Administrative and Financial Control: Manage the sales budget for the zone, ensure efficient use of resources, monitor expenses/ROI, and maintain strict administrative control and compliance with company policies and regulatory norms.
