Overview of The Role:
At Greaves Electric Mobility, we are building one of Indias most scalable and future-ready EV businesses. The Cluster Head South & West role sits at the core of this journey - owning two of the most critical EV markets that drive a significant share of national volumes, dealer throughput, and long-term growth.
This is a full-stack business leadership role with complete P&L ownership, requiring a leader who can seamlessly integrate strategy, analytics, and field execution to deliver predictable, high-quality growth.
You will be responsible for translating national growth ambition into region-specific execution, while driving consistency across a large, multi-layered sales and dealer ecosystem.
You will own:
- Revenue growth and volume scale-up
- Contribution margins, pricing discipline, and incentive governance
- Market share expansion across diverse city cohorts
- Dealer network productivity, ROI, and lifecycle management
- Customer experience and retail excellence metrics
Key Responsibilities
Cluster P&L Ownership (South & West)
- Own and deliver top-line and bottom-line performance across clusters
- Build annual, quarterly, and monthly operating plans aligned to national targets
- Drive forecasting accuracy using funnel analytics, historical trends, and market signals
- Ensure pricing discipline, discount governance, and incentive optimization
Sales Growth & Demand Generation
- Drive growth across urban commuter, value, and performance EV segments
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer triggers: pricing, subsidies, financing, exchange
- Partner with marketing to localize:
- Retail campaigns
- Test ride programs
- Hyperlocal activations
- Improve attachment rates: finance, insurance, accessories, extended warranties
Dealer Network Strategy & Channel Excellence
- Design and execute a market clustering strategy for optimal coverage and ROI
- Lead complete dealer lifecycle:
- Market mapping & white-space identification
- Partner selection and onboarding
- Capability building and performance stabilization
- Drive dealer P&L health via throughput, cost control, and manpower productivity
- Continuously optimize network density vs market potential vs competition intensity
Customer Experience & Quality Governance
- Own the end-to-end customer journey from enquiry to post-sales engagement
- Drive continuous improvement in NPS and customer satisfaction metrics
- Collaborate with Service & Supply Chain teams to improve:
- Service turnaround times
- Warranty trends and issue resolution
- Ensure dealerships are service-ready to support scale and retention
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead a large, multi-tier organization (RMs, ASMs, TSMs, dealer teams)
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability
- Drive structured capability building in:
- EV product knowledge
- Sales process excellence
- CRM & digital tools
- Negotiation and closing
- Actively develop second-line leadership and succession pipeline
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1218 years in Automotive / EV / Mobility / Consumer Durables
- Proven P&L ownership across large, complex geographies
- Strong experience in dealer-led distribution and network scaling
- Deep understanding of EV/2W category dynamics and consumer behavior
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution through data and governance
- Strong exposure to South/West markets preferred
