YouTube Manager

Pepper Media is a video-first digital media and content services company with over two decades of experience working with leading media networks, platforms, and brands. We specialise in building, managing, and scaling large YouTube ecosystems for news, entertainment, and digital-first publishers.

We are looking for a hands-on YouTube Manager with deep expertise in the YouTube ecosystem to manage, grow, and monetise partner channels across news and entertainment genres. This role requires strong platform understanding, analytical thinking, and close collaboration with editorial and content teams to drive subscriber growth, reach, and revenue.

• Own end-to-end management of partner YouTube channels, including content strategy, publishing, optimisation, and performance tracking
• Drive subscriber growth, watch time, and revenue through data-led YouTube strategies
• Work closely with news and entertainment partners to scale their presence on YouTube
• Collaborate with editorial teams to shape YouTube-first content strategies
• Analyse competitors and track how they are performing across YouTube and other social platforms
• Identify trends, formats, thumbnails, titles, and storytelling patterns that help videos go viral
• Optimise metadata, playlists, channel architecture, and publishing schedules
• Monitor analytics and provide actionable insights on content performance and audience behaviour
• Stay up to date with changes in YouTube algorithms, policies, and monetisation models

• Strong, hands-on experience managing and growing YouTube channels at scale
• Deep understanding of how the YouTube algorithm, recommendations, and monetisation work
• Experience working with publisher, news, or entertainment content is a big plus
• Ability to translate data and insights into clear editorial and growth recommendations
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders creators, editors, and partners
• Passion for digital video, trends, and audience behaviour
