Role Overview

We are seeking a data-obsessed, strategically-minded Senior Analyst to lead the growth trajectory of our YouTube ecosystem. With a dual focus on Marathi and English content, you will be responsible for deconstructing audience behavior, optimizing retention, and identifying untapped content opportunities. You wont just report on numbers; you will dictate the strategy that moves them.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Performance Analysis: Deep dive into YouTube Analytics (Studio) to interpret CTR, Average View Duration (AVD), and Audience Retention graphs. Identify "drop-off" patterns and provide actionable feedback to the production team.

Bilingual Content Strategy: Audit and analyze performance differences between Marathi and English audiences. Understand the cultural nuances that drive engagement in regional vs. global markets.

Algorithm & Trend Mapping: Stay ahead of the "black box." Proactively identify shifts in the YouTube algorithm, emerging formats (Shorts vs. Long-form), and trending topics within our niche.

A/B Testing & Optimization: Lead rigorous testing for thumbnails, titles, and metadata. Use tools like TubeBuddy or VidIQ to optimize SEO and search discoverability.

Competitor Intelligence: Conduct regular "gap analysis" on domestic and international competitors to ensure our channels remain market leaders.

Reporting & Forecasting: Develop weekly and monthly "Executive Dashboards" that translate complex data into clear, high-level growth insights for leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 56 years of dedicated experience managing or analyzing high-traffic YouTube channels.

Linguistic Depth: Complete fluency in Marathi and English is non-negotiable. You must understand how vernacular nuances affect click behavior.

Technical Stack: Mastery of YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and SEO tools. Proficiency in Excel/SQL or data visualization tools (like Looker Studio) is a major plus.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to distinguish between "vanity metrics" (total views) and "sanity metrics" (returning viewers, RPM, and brand loyalty).

Communication: The ability to tell a story with data. You must be able to explain to a video editor why a specific 10-second segment caused a retention dip.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days: Identifying the top 3 "leaks" in our current retention strategy and implementing a testing framework for Marathi-language thumbnails.

Long Term: Significant MoM (Month-over-Month) growth in "Returning Viewers" and optimized RPM across both language segments.
