Job Position - Yardi Accountant / US Property Accountant

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Yardi Accountant / Property Accountant to support US-based real estate and property management clients. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Yardi Voyager, US accounting processes, and property-level financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day property accounting for assigned US real estate portfolios
• Record, review, and reconcile transactions using Yardi Voyager
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) including invoice processing, vendor verification, and timely payments
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger (GL) reviews
• Prepare and review property-level financial statements, schedules, and reports
• Ensure accurate invoice coding and compliance with US GAAP
• Assist with month-end close, accrual entries, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with US-based accounting teams to resolve discrepancies
• Support budget preparation and financial analysis
• Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 26 years of experience in Property Accounting / Real Estate Accounting
• Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management accounting software
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and vendor management
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end closing procedures
• Experience supporting US real estate or property management clients
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional and US-based teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Real Estate or Property Management company
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• Experience with ResMan software is a strong plus
