Management Level Definition:

The Configuration Specialist plays a strategic and critical role in the success of the Services Quote-to-Cash operation. This role focuses on correcting and optimizing system configurations, enabling incremental revenue, and guiding Install Base Representatives as well as CSLV and Partner representatives to deliver measurable business outcomes. The Configuration Specialist brings together multiple HPE technologies to design and validate complete, compliant, and customer-ready solutions.
 

What you’ll do:

• Analyze storage, compute, and firmware configurations to identify gaps, errors, or missing mandatory components within customer environments.
• Correct configuration fallouts to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and solution completeness.
• Enable incremental revenue opportunities by optimizing configurations and improving order value.
• Support Install Base Reps, CSLV teams, and Partners by providing configuration guidance and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Category, Business, Storage, and Compute teams to align configurations with business and customer requirements.
• Drive country and sub-region improvement plans for GTM configuration quality and execution.
